I've been going to this place for years. Now it may be the shift in the tradition and changing of the tide. But the chicken leaves much to be desired. Either burnt to a charred crisp or half done meaning the skin is not browned just wimpy. Not very tasty as this is my second time experiencing this in a matter of weeks so it's not because there aren't enough workers. There needs to be quality control. I'm not going to buy anything else cooked, from the flavorless regular fried chicken to the beans. I have no idea but it seems like they are living off a dying legacy. I'm saddened and also angry because I spent a lot of money on some things that I could have made myself. Lesson learned ?I left this 2 weeks ago apparently under Meats...not Poultry and it was meant for this merchant.

In Booths Corner this is a nice stop for fresh meat etc. when I walked up I saw a long line and clamoring of people jockeying for position. The big deal? Folks trying to get the last of the baby back ribs, too funny. Looks like fun so I join in and nab one of the last slabs. Ok now I 'm home with rib snobs, here we go! I slowly warm the baby back ribs in the toaster oven. So those two sitting over there. Oh that 's me giving my husband and mother the side eye because they 're the snobs I mentioned. LOL Well it 's official they liked the ribs. WHEW! That 's one less meal I have to make. Humm this maybe be a biweekly thing it down the road from Penns Woods Winery. I got two stones why not 'kill ' the two birds. Happy drinking and eating!
