Bidrage med feedbackFirst time dining at this restaurant after having been so delighted by DiFebo's Market. Dinner was fantastic! Our party consisted of three. The braised short-ribs over wild mushroom risotto was amazing. My husband had the calamari fra diavolo (he cleaned his plate). My mother-in-law had Pop's cioppino and LOVED it! We split a tiramasiu...will definitely be going back!! Our waitress, Mindy, was first class fun as was the entire staff.
I don't understand why I can't get a steak well done. I usually ask them to burn it.....but I got a bleeding...and I mean oozing red...piece of meat. I would have even settled for a medium well. It seems every restaurant I go to and try to get well done steak, seems to think they know better. But I'm the one eating it and paying for it.
Everything we had was delicious. Each dish was made with high quality ingredients from the salad to the main course. The espresso after the meal was also perfect.
What an outstanding find! Having recently relocated to the area we are searching out our new favorite haunts. Have already returned twice, both times lucky to find seats at the busy bar. DiFebo's Caesar salad and chicken parm are among the very best I've had ANYWHERE, not just DE. They serve only house made pasta and bread to boot and one of the few spots in the area I've found that even offer espresso drinks so the cappuccinos being perfection was a joyful bonus. Top marks too for staff who were friendly helpful and attentive despite the full house to keep happy. Many more visits to come! Parking: Small lot that fills up quickly due to restaurant's popularity
Whenever we are in Bethany Beach, this is our go to for Italian. My favorite dish is the Torchiette and Wild Mushroom and I get it each time. It never disappoints. It's rich and decadent. I also love their Parmigiano seasoning for their olive oil dipping sauce for bread. They also own a market across the street where you can get ingredients, desserts, wood oven pizza and sandwiches.
