Athens Greek & American Restaurant

Good food, nice staff. only their basic Greek food, nothing too special. the place is clean and very friendly. I like their tabuli very much!

Pro: clean, tasty, polite cash, elaborate menu, big price con: eating lasted 15 minutes up and we ordered an salat and hummus. I was still hungry, the hummus was great, but it came with enough pita imo

Not sure what's going on!? my man loves this place so much and goes at least 3 times a month. Last weekend my man went there and said that moe was not there and the people who were there did not seem to know how to work the register. he said they had a tough time. also eating was not the same. I have only balanced out the shaky book and noticed that the debit has gone through as opas Greek American, not breathing. they also accused us twice, two different amounts, $36.02 $35.86, total $71.88 for 2 gyros and 2 dinners! Bad service again. I think the place is under new managment and goes downhill. 3 of the 5 commands were wrong. they made an order. I was finished with my meal before the last two were put on the table. 3 Gyro dinners had Persian salads when it should be taboli salads. I asked to let the one be good, but they didn't. for a small extra dressing causal there was absolutely no on the salat that we could taste. Food good. Service not so much.. I've eaten here several times with friends and the food has always been good and the owner friendly enough. My problem is with his wife. I've gone in there twice now by myself when the owner's wife was running things and each time I guess she didn't like my looks. I get a glare of disgust and a not so friendly, What do you want?. Then both times when I said my order was for dine in, she packed my order up and said, No. You're not eating it here. You're leaving. WTF?!?!
