Bidrage med feedbackI absolutely hate being served coffee in a take away cup when eating in! The whole point of eating in the cafe is enjoy a nice cup of coffee and relax. The coffee was average. The chai latte was way too sweet. The tarts were very cold and tough to eat. I also hate it when you need to go to the toilet and are told the cafe doesnt have its own and you need to walk down the road to use the disgusting unclean public toilet. This place has a huge potential for a nice cafe. Sadly I wont be back.
We also visited Gus' cafe at the shopping fair for morning tea and enjoyed a white cocolate and macadamia muffin with my coffee. I do like their coffee.
This place very rarely does a bad coffee and we continue to go back. Prices are reasonable and snacks are ok priced too - muffins are almost same price as a toastie. I've found the Northside plaza store makes a somewhat nicer coffee than Stockland store but this isn't enough to deter me away when at Stockland. The opening hours are longer at Stockland than at Northside plaza, and the Northside store isn't open on a Sunday unfortunately. Their takeaway cups aren't insulated and are usually quite hot to hold once you get your coffee. On things to improve I would say the Stockland staff should learn to smile and make their customers more welcome. A little goes a long way even if it is just a smile.
If you want coffee, this place sells it. Awe asked staff of the coffee origins, but was told it was a 'a blend to die for'. Sadly, we wanted to know if people die to produce this coffee? WE did find out it was not organic, but that was about it. Service was quick, but not friendly if you ask questions and the staff can't answer your questions. Our coffee came with a serve of attitude after that.
My go-to place for coffee at stocklands now that zaraffa's is gone. Awesome coffee & friendly staff.
