The climb over the stairs through the vineyard to the castle at half height is worth it. Beautiful view with good gastronomy. Exterior area is framed with high trees and good views of the Moselle and vineyards. Eat very well from Dutch kibbeling over Asian to Celtic cuisine. Beautiful operation and also interior beautifully decorated.. Good wine also on offer.

A few years ago, I was there with my wife. At that time, I would have got 5 stars. Today, due to the decline of culinary terms, unfortunately no longer. The staff is very friendly.

Fantastic viewpoint above Bernkastel-Kues. After a short climb over the Moselsteig, you will reach the Schützenhaus from the old town of Bernkastel-Kues. In the beer garden you sit under shade-giving trees. The entire Moselbogen opens up to the visitor. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu forms what is expected in such a destination. The price for the view is unpaid.
