Excellent food and beautiful presentation, large portions as well. Drinks took very long to arrive and it was not a busy night. Not sure what's going on with the water and ice but had to send it back 2 or 3 times as it had black specks in it along with a dead fly the first time and a dead spider the second time. Yeah. Had a great lunch here and will definitely be back. Fresh bread was amazing, still can't figure out all the spices in the olive oil, but it was so good. The salad was very fresh, I recommend the port wine dressing I had. We had delicious homemade pasta primavera and a grilled chicken wrap. And the summer sangria was perfect for sipping outside on the nice late summer day we had. The sangria was a complex but well balanced. Just meh. We ordered the Rigatoni Paesano and the Pollo Rustica for pickup. It was a bit of a wait (not complaining about that, it’s a busy Sunday night! so by the time we got it, I had almost forgotten what I’d ordered and was kind of confused why I’d get this. My rigatoni had sausage and roasted peppers quickly realized it was the rustica not the paesano. Not a huge deal, mistakes happen. I just really dislike roasted peppers in pasta so it was not for me and I tossed it. My husband got the pollo rustica (which we ultimately shared and it was fine, but we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The Demi glace tasted like the one from lean cuisine and I would not consider the chicken to be “Parmesan crusted”. It seemed like it was lightly floured and pan seared but it was a very wet breading. The chicken was cooked well though. Could have done without the haystack of onions on top and the spinach gnocchi just did not pair well with the sauce. All in all, not our best takeout meal but not the worst either.
