Trattoria La Barchetta - BERNALDA

We stopped for lunch in this nice place, not the easiest to find, even if very close to the beach. No real parking around, if not the relatively expensive unguarded public parking on the main street, some 500 mt away Place Very nice and welcoming, could use a little renovation in some parts, but clean The toilet definitely could use a refreshing and to have a second one (not only the special needs one and the standard one could be a plus Also a better way to see if it is occupied than shaking the door and knocking Food We were a party of 4, two adults and two teens, so we decided to try the assorted entree, and we decided to take 2 of them, plus the main dish Holy molly.... The entree was HUGE! I think there were at least 5 different dishes in the entree, from the cold fish salade to the shrimps to the pepata di cozze We were almost full just after the entree itself! Also the main dishes (I took the fritto misto, the others took pasta and other fishes was very good The fritto was not that large (luckily at this point but quite nice, even if not the best I have ever had Service There had been a couple of hiccups, like lost water and beer, but it was enough to just remember the waiter. The waitress that served us was way too nice and funny (at the pepata, our dishes had been taken away already Noo!!! Where are my dishes!!! she moaned when she arrived with an enormous bowl of cozze I saw lot of people from the nearby beach coming to take a quick bite, and things looked quite nice too Cost Not cheap, not overly expensive but definitely expensive for a place in Southern Italy

Second visit here. The service can be a bit slow. Ten-minute wait to order the drinks and then next ten minutes to get them. There was a party of 15 people and I guess they were busy with the big table. Anyway, my favourite part are their starters. I would just order several of them and skip their main dishes altogether. Delicious desserts, too. The only complaint is they couldn’t adapt a dish for me. All I asked for was to have simple grilled fish without the sauce. It seems odd to me they could only serve it with sauce. The only reason for that would be if the food was not freshly made. I hope it’s not the case.

We stopped for lunch en route to Calabria. A bit out of the way. The exterior has a blue boat sitting in the street. However, the food was wonderful. My brother in law had the tuna sandwich. Very much unlike any tuna sandwich you would get in the US. Very nicely presented and fantastic.

Posizione molto bella vicino al mare con luci e atmosfera solo rilassantericette di pesci insoliti ma per tutti i goits: l'antipasto sfiora mare praticamente racchiude tutto l'antipasto come tapas ed è una grande soluzione per gustare un po 'tutto '). Ho provato il merluzzo e poi la calamarata e sono stati entrambi eccellenti corretto, ottima qualità, assolutamente on-line il prezzo. Anche se avevamo preso molti piatti diversi, non abbiamo aspettato molto. superconsigliato

Per cena abbiamo scelto questa trattoria all'interno del bagno nettuno e poi abbiamo mangiato in riva al mare. Abbiamo iniziato con spaghetti con auricolari ricci e pomodoro per nostra figlia. allora era la volta di un pezzo di cozze con pane croccante e polpo arrosto con burrata e pomodori secchi. abbiamo finito con un dolce con ricotta, noci e fichi. tutto accompagnato da vino bianco frizzante locale. tutti molto buoni, prezzi in linea con situazioni simili. piacevole serata e allegra. personale giovane, amichevole ed efficiente.
