Volkshaus 1914 - Bern

Unfortunately it was pretty disappointing. The reception was nice, the drink came quickly but then I had to wait 50 minutes for the food. Schnitzel was really very good, unfortunately the fries were miserable. 42 CHF for this one time is enough. The ambience would actually be good if the ambience wasn't constantly disturbed by the loud, unpleasant ringing of telephones. I've never experienced that before either.

A great place for a cozy dinner. Gladly again!

Fries weren't freshly made, burger bun was soggy but the service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.

The food and service were very good! I can recommend the Volkshaus!

The deer saddle (hunting season) was simply perfect! Cooked sous vide, presented in two courses, I really enjoyed it! The other more traditional dishes on the menu are also very good, but if you have the opportunity, take the venison!
