Very good Indonesian cuisine. Wide selection of meat and vegetarian dishes. Everything fresh for us very tasty. The service was friendly. Food was brought relatively fast. You should book for the evening hours as the shop is often full. Unfortunately, the restaurant always opens at 5 pm. It is currently closed on Mondays (until December 2018).

On the first evening of our Berlin weekend we had hunger and desire for Asian cuisine. Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean? All known, we were looking for something different... see here, “Indonesian specialties” and this only 350 meters from our hotel LINDEMANN’S. Open daily from 5 pm. After we saw the outside seats on site, we actually wanted to go. That should really be changed. But then we decided to go in. A lot of work was done with bamboo. reminded us of a former Thai restaurant in Kassel. Only the tablecloths did not please us from the style, but maybe this is typical Indonesian?! Friendly welcome by a serviceman with the question whether we had reserved. Of course not, but we could choose another table in the window. The menu and the ordered drinks were brought quickly. We have selected the following dishes: Lumpia (homemade spring rolls with meat and vegetable filling) for 4,00 € Mie Goreng (fried noodles with fresh vegetables, chicken kewer and krupuk) for 8,50 € Bebek Goreng Bumbu Matah according to Bali Art (Ente kross fried in balinesiche matah spices from chili and tomatoes) for 10,90 € Bebek The price/performance ratio is also good. Our drinks (beer, Ginger Ale, Bitter Lemon) were well cooled. Conclusion: Recommended!
