Yes. The food is lovely. So is the atmosphere. It was a lovely evening. But I was shocked by the very expensive bill and the fact that we got overcharged for the wine by 12 euros (which the waiter returned without an apology).

Visiting this restaurant was one of the worst experiences we had my friends and i so far. we have made a reservation for 5 persons and we were there on time, we were only 3 when we arrived though. The waitress was more than just impolite, aggressive and disrespectful. She said that they/the system made a mistake in setting up the tables and therefore she couldn 't give us a table despite the fact that we reserved so obviously it wasn 't our fault. we asked her to give us a table for 3 as we had a long way to go there and she started yelling i quote what should i do? Sit you on someone s lap? then said u know what? just take any table i will just kick out the next people who come in and she ignored us and got back to work.so literally we were kicked out. that was very rude ? we were humiliated this is really unacceptable and unfair. i don 't know how people can hire so bad tempered people as waitress. If she can t handle her temper she can t be working as waitress.

A bit of Swiss fare in Berlin. Apart from rösti and geschnetzeltes, they have of course cheese fondue. Which was our reason for going there. The food was OK, but not exceptional. The Kirsch came separately, so you could add to your liking. No (offer of) garlic. Enough bread and a nice side salad. Simple decor, not much atmosphere. Rather morose waitress, who dutifully fulfilled her tasks, but did not seem interested in the clientele.

The fondue was great, but the service was absolutely horrendous. We ordered a side of bacon, and then asked to return it as we didn’t like the way it was cooked (we had a tiny piece only to try, the rest of the portion was completely untouched). When we got the bill, they had still charged for the bacon even though it was returned to the kitchen because it wasn’t cooked properly; when I asked the waitress why it was on the bill, she said in an EXTREMELY rude way that if we had ordered it, we had to pay for it. In every restaurant in the world, if you return something because it wasn’t cooked properly, they will remove it free of charge. When I said this, she was once again EXTREMELY rude and said: “have you ever eaten bacon in your life? This is how it always tastes” I still cannot believe the waitress said these words to me, also I have been eating bacon my whole life, and it wasn’t cooked properly. The response was absolutely disrespectful so I insisted she removes it, and she did in an extremely unfriendly manner. Definitely a reason not to go back. She was blonde with many tattoos on her arms. Also, we got charged over 2€ per glass of Coca-Cola that was served from a 1.5litre plastic bottle and the fizz was completely gone. Ridiculous and unprofessional. What a shame.
