Bidrage med feedbackFirstly, I confess that I am a firm believer in Cantonese cuisine ranking it at the top of the world's. So, I regularly visit Hong Kong as I miss the taste. On the first night in Berlin, we, I and my wife, went there simply because the place was close to our hotel. We of course had an intention to try local dishes thereafter. But, once we ate "Asparagus in crab meat sauce" after some dim-sum, I thought to myself "Why go elsewhere when Hong Kong is here ?". Then we became two of the regulars through our three day stay at Berlin. While dim-sum like steamed dumpling or spring roll, or fried noodle/rice are fine, I would recommend you consult Simon, the owner chef, before picking from the printed Euro-Chinese routines. He will tell you the day's recommendations featuring the best in season, such as oyster or asparagus, to be served lightly or fully cooked in Cantonese way. Among others, we liked salt stone chicken and deep fried fish, and dessert like tofu in sweet sauce and sweet red-bean soup, both being tenderly sweet and very light to the stomachThe inside decor and atmosphere is very well in China style, and so are the staff, naturally. But, they can be friendly in their way once you try to communicate.Ah, we were allowed to use the corner table where Mrs. Prime Minister once sat and it was an extra honor for the short-time regulars. This will be my home restaurant whenever I come back to Berlin.
Came across this restaurant by chance and thought we'd give it a try, so glad we did. Food was very tasty and authentic and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good quality Chinese food.
We got there for a late lunch, and it was great! Very nice soups, but the main course was even better. The location is in the center, and easy to get there.
Attentive staff and nice food!we have the soup of the day which is a clear vegetable soup, fish with chili sauce, crispy duck was awesome! Pork stewed with potato was oily due to the fatty meat, i like their vegetable with oyster sauce and chicken with seasonal veggies. They serve nice rice and fruits! and of course the Chinese tea!
We had no reservation on a Saturday night, they accommodated the whole 7 of (incl. 3 kids)the food was good, not exceptional, good servicewe had dumplings for starter, then a range of vegetarian and meet-based dishes, as well as fish which was fried a really nice
