Bar Am Lutzowplatz - Berlin

We visited as a large party (50 people) and had pre-booked and reserved an area for the evening. An hour after arriving only a handful of us had drinks.The bar service was nothing short of diabolical. The bar knew we were coming and had accepted the booking, however clearly had not thought of having enough staff for the evening. We left and moved on to another venue that we had originally booked for later in the evening.I'd say that unless this place is extremely quiet (and even then I couldn't say whether you would get better service) don't waste your time.

I hadn't planned to visit this bar but just stumbled across it as it was near our hotel.The bar is just one long room but very modern and very darkly lit. It was quiet but it was a Sunday. The cocktails were good and reasonably priced. I wouldn't have gone out of my way to get there but if your passing it's worth a visit.

Nice,small bar with a variety of nice coctails,polite bartenders.It deserve visiting it for sure.Its on Lutzowplatz and it is open every night.You can either sit outside or inside.

We went to this bar as it was on route from our hotel, the Grange Hotel Esplenade. The bar goes on for ages, just one long room. The bar was quiet which we found odd as it was Friday night. The prices were good thoug. The bar tenders were all friendly.

Last night in the city. Boss wanted to relax somewhere different. I had noticed this place on several occasions heading to meetings so suggested we try. It's a long cavernous room - almost as though a driveway between two buildings had been enclosed and turned into a bar. Dimly lit, excellent music selection playing. Hospitable crowd. Very welcoming bartenders and an amazing cocktail list. The boss had never had a Ginger Mac before so I suggested he try that - it was a hit as he went back for seconds and thirds if I recall. bar has an amazing whiskey selection, and vodka and gin for that mater. No food - this is just a drinking establishment...but a very very nice one. Definitely worth another visit on next trip into town. So go, relax with a few. If you are staying at Esplanade, it's just a short stumble around the corner.
