Aarna Devi - Berlin

I know that there are a lot of Indian restaurants in Berlin, and that most of them make nothing close to the real Indian food, but this one takes the cake in terms of being among the worst. I hardly cook, but I can make better Indian food. That says a lot.At least, the tea offered in most Indian restaurants is pretty decent. The tea here was also really bad. The staff is really friendly, but I guess most of us go to a restaurant to also have good food. The food is really really bad. I never understood why Indians who run Indian restaurants in Berlin can't make better Indian food. I gave it a two star rating because at least the service was good.

This is a not very known place which is owned by an Indian with as closest to authentic north Indian food in both as well as the non vegetarian cuisines. Since it is in a quiet street corner , it is one of those places where you would want a meal after your hard day at work or with your family.

Very nice little Indian restaurant. We had a lental soup which was creamy and tasty, a nun bread with garlic which was fresh and crispy, a mixed tandur plate that was delicious and spanish with cheakbeans also vey good. Clean place, good service. Recommend (!)
