Bidrage med feedbackKingpin is a clamp under Berkeley students because it is directly along Durant and always has the wonderful aroma of roasted dough. It's always up to me to seduce because the smell and because you can see that they do donuts. The best thing about Kingpin is his long hours. They are open for about 2:00 or so, which means that people can come for late night snacks. Actually, it's late at night when they begin to make fresh donuts, I think so it's actually better to go late. As far as taste is concerned, I think it's quite normal, and it didn't wake me anyway. Whenever I get a donut, it's not warm at all. I can't remember how much a donut usually costs, but some of them seem kind of expensive. Nevertheless, it is a great place to pamper yourself for a snack.
If you love donuts, this place might work for you. If you are just so-so on donuts, like me, then don'e expect anything gourmet, or even good. Just basic.
Situated near the Berkeley athletic complex, this restaurant offers delicious and fresh donuts. The coffee is also pretty good. For those who are complaining about the prices, it's important to consider that many things are expensive nowadays.
The donuts were priced at $3.75 each, with an additional $0.50 credit card fee. I ended up spending $8 for 2 donuts, which I found to be overpriced as they were not very good. In my opinion, they were not worth more than $2 each. The only positive aspect was that the donuts were quite large, but this was likely due to the excessive amount of oil in them. I found the taste to be so unpleasant that I couldn't even finish them.
The donuts were amazing. I visited this restaurant the morning of my graduation and they had my order ready right away. I would definitely return. The staff member at the counter was very friendly as well. Overall, I would rate my experience as a perfect 10 out of 10.
