Bidrage med feedbackThe service was missing and the meal was only average. the menu was vague and confusing. the size of the menu was smaller and no one has informed us about it. my cloves were boiled and the risotto was cold, dry and inconspicuous. we've been here before and were very disappointed.
That was the first time that we ate giovanni’s since they were expanded. the food was delicious and the service was great! xavier, our waiter, was great! we shared a cesar salat and pappardelle with short rib ragu for appetizer and I had a special striped bass with garnel, mosquitoes, muscles and spinat for my main course. have loved everything! I look forward to coming back soon!
Sweet little restaurant in business. eating and service were good. the food came out in a well spaced way. not too fast and not too slow. menu is diverse and there are nightly specialties. full service bar. everything in all it is another choice for diners to try.
When the former manager, Greg, left to move to Colorado, I was very worried that the quality of the service would decline. But that is not the case. The service is crisp and warm (albeit not the same as visiting your dear cousins, as it was under Greg. The food is delicious and inventive. My husband had a wonderful fig and avocado salad, and the amuse bouche was an incredible scallop in scallop sauce. Hoping the scallops get added to the regular menu! I’m so pleased to see that the special restaurant is being smartly managed and continues to raise the bar for fine dining in Berkeley Heights.
Excellent food and great service. Went for restaurant week and you can’t beat the value and choice of five entrees. Will be back.
