Bidrage med feedbackGreat food! something that hurts for the whole family. we really enjoyed the cauliflower. the fish was fresh. many vegetarian options. they even let us order a “half” part of the pads thai for a child. we have cleaned our counters and would certainly return! (the empty sushi plate is proof!
Sumo is a beautiful restaurant that they can go when they are looking for fusion Asian food. the taste, the price and the entire environment are over expectations. I took a star from the review because of the authentication of sushi. as an asiatin who traveled very regularly to japan and regularly has Japanese sushi, the sushi that humo offered is something to creatiw. they will feel strange when looking for standard sushi. I changed my expectations after 1 sushi then I had a lot of fun by getting them as merge sushi that I probably won't get into asia
Here we decided for our last lunch before we leave. the menu had a large sushi selection from traditional to crisp. I loved the rolls filled with sweet potato. the lotus backs were not my favorite as they were a bit too big and fell apart, but that could be due to the plates (taco stand). the service was great and it was a really nice atmosphere. they also have some plaques in front of the door that show all the celebrities who visited what was quite cool.
Absolutely tasty eating with one of the best laughs I have eaten in my whole life. the cocktail orange remembrance(? was also really good. the place is quite expensive, but for me it was worth it.
I have had a lot of sushi from most corners of the earth, this Asian fusion blew my expectations out of the water. We attempted to go here twice while visiting Bergen, so if you are looking for dinner…make a reservation. We went for a late lunch and ordered three rolls and one poke bowl. We ordered the Dirty Tempura Maki (the OG fusion roll) topped with sweet potato fries. What is not to love?! I also ordered the Morudoba Sake roll that has a deep fried peanut crust served with chili mayo. Finally, my favorite was the Golden Gate, a deep fried salmon roll with cream cheese, sriracha and paprika. It had the most beautiful golden coloring on top. We also ordered the Spicy Korean poke bowl, which was delicious but just a typical poke bowl. If you are eating here, order the unique rolls you won’t find anywhere else.
