Panorama - Benz

We knew this hotel about an earlier stay. It is located on Lake Balmer, away from the usual Usedom tourist routes. You can play golf here, as the name says. It is a large, idyllic complex with different smaller houses on where the rooms are located. We used the panoramic terrace for all afternoons for coffee. We weren't here. In 2021 we went back to Balm to drink coffee. My companion drove the car right behind the reception. There is a narrow way uphill to the panoramic terrace. I came out and went on a steep path. My companion was looking for a parking lot. Later we learned that there is another parking at the top, about 100 m away. I went there to save the steep descent. There is no elevator to the Panorama Restaurant. Guests will be taken to their rooms with small golf carts. With such a car you can also drive to the golf course. When I went to the upper parking lot, I was asked by a hotel employee if I wanted to go. Since I arrived almost in the parking lot, it was not worth it. Otherwise I would like to try: The panoramic terrace offers a beautiful view of Lake Balmer at several tables. In the afternoon coffee time, cakes, ice cups and matching drinks such as coffee, tea and soft drinks are offered at average prices. We had ice cups and coffee tastes that enjoyed magnificent views. The other guests on the terrace seemed to live in the hotel. The whole atmosphere was friendly relaxed. The staff as you can expect in such homes was friendly and accommodating. Corona is currently closed by the end of February 2022. I wish the operators that it will continue with many guests. We can recommend the hotel for the afternoon coffee visit. We can't say anything about the hotel stay. We liked what we saw.

The hotel for a relaxing active holiday, right on the eighth water, in the centre of two golf courses. Very recommended.
