Rancho Grande Mexican Grill

Place is small gets busy!! But this was my first time there and won't be my last!!!

Food is just so so delicious!!!? This is our 2nd time coming here on a weekend because we love their fresh chips, mole and enchiladas the tables could be bigger

I came here with my family for Saturday brunch and it was great! I tried the Chilaquiles and my bf tried the steak fajitas, both were great! We also had some **** Mary's and those were also delicious. The Mexican decor on the inside also makes it super cute! The staff were all very friendly and joking around with us; it made for a great experience!

We ate there several times during our stay, enjoyed every dish. It is truly authentic Mexican food.

There are a lot of great Mexican spots in Bakersfield and I'd heard great things about Rancho Grande, but it just wasn't my favorite. I'll start off with some positives though. Our large party was able to get seated immediately for lunch. They had cute Christmas decor already set up and were quick to provide us with service. Our food came out immediately. The rice and beans with my dish were delicious and really enjoyable. I also liked that the salsa that came with the chips had a nice picante kick to it!I ordered the mole enchiladas and they were a miss. The chicken inside was really dry and the mole wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. It'd be worth trying something else but I wasn't impressed. Their portions are large so it's nice to have a little leftovers, especially given the reasonable pricing.
