Bidrage med feedbackWith a delicious and delightful selection of breakfast and lunches, including sweet and hearty, slate cafe becomes one of my favorite cafés. dog friendly in an outside environment is a plus and her service was professional and prompt.
I went to Long Chin for dinner on Friday night. The restaurant was very busy and had a lively atmosphere. There was a short wait to get in, but it moved quickly and we were seated promptly. We ordered squid stir fry, Thai papaya salad, aromatic vegetable curry, sour orange fish curry, and Pad Thai. The standout dish was the Pad Thai, which was incredibly flavorful and comparable to what we had in Thailand. It was definitely the best Pad Thai I've had at any Thai restaurant in Perth. All the other dishes were also delicious. My only criticism is that the drinks were a bit pricey and there were limited options for wines by the glass. I would have liked the option of some Thai spirits as well. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and everyone in my group was very impressed. I have dined here multiple times and am looking forward to many more visits.
Actually a friend found this place as I have two new labradoodle puppies and rarely head out. I was able to take my pups here where they play in an enclosed area adjoined to the cafe. The food was good, yup no doubt but for...me it was peace of mind that my pups were safe in the enclosure where I could be with them or overseeing them from within the cafe itself whilst I socialised with humankind. Dogs can also be in the cafe if on lead. There is a dog treats van. I grassed area for little humans and a playset. Also a separate little yard if you want some privacy Although its meant as a dig agility space . The beauty about this space is there are 4 mulberry trees there that also let you snack when they are in fruit!! The enclosure has pup toilet bags and big bowls of water for your furbabies. All dogs run around with happy smiles on their faces. Its wonderful. Id recommend looking up and joining their facebook page as each weekend they also have breed playdates. ie 9 11am will be border collies and 11 2pm will be puppies under 6. You can take whatever breed your dog is an any time, ie my 2 4 and a half month old labradoodles played with some massive dopey bloodhounds. Then the next week with dobermans and rottweilers. I honestly cant rave enough about this pure gold find. We need many more safe places like this to take out pets.
We have been here several times and this is a great cafe catering to both humans and canines. This area is fantastic for dogs to run around and socialise. They have fixed the gates and allowed an area to get inside the yard without dogs...escaping. Well done. The cafe is well attended with meals and coffees coming out thick and fast. The meals look terrific although I'm yet to try them I can say the coffees are enjoyable. We were there for the Golden Retriever play day and there were about 50 dogs running around having a blast. Well done to owners and staff for creating such a happy environment and keeping up with demand. This is an exceptionally busy cafe.
We’d heard about this cafe for awhile and had been waiting for a nice day to go...and we are so glad we did. The place was already busy at 9:40am on a Sunday morning but we got a table. We took our 3 year old...Maloodle Miss Dimple with us and she got to sit with us at the table, well under it. We ordered Slate Benedict aka eggs Benedict and the beef pork burger. Both meals were fantastic, good size and delicious! After the meal we walked down to the enclosed area for dog where they can be let off the leash. There were dogs off all shapes and sizes, all getting along and having a great time. There is also a large area for the two legged babies to play in, with dogs allowed there if they are on leash. Out the back is a second area for dogs, it’s an agility course. Not sure if it’s there every weekend but today there was a ‘food truck’ for dogs. They sold all sorts of doggie treats to buy. We had a lovely morning and will be back.
