Kebabish King - Benidorm

I stopped at this restaurant for lunch. From the outside the frontage was very bright vibrant and exciting. There are a couple of other Asian restaurants very close by however this was the only restaurant that had any customers at the time of my visit. I allowed the existence of customers to make the decision to stop at this restaurant for me. I ordered a chicken curry with rice, a naan bread and a beer I have to say I was very disappointed in the meal. While the curry contained plenty of pieces of chicken, the chicken was hard and tasteless. The curry sauce was also tasteless. There was no taste of spice and no taste of chilli . The sauce was very watery and let’s face it what does water taste like, exactly the same as this curry. The rice was as vibrant in colour as the shopfront but it was very bland. Rice that is relatively tasteless as bearable when it is allowed to soak up a tasty sauce however in the absence of any tasty sauce the rice remained poor. The naan bread was more like a bap or a breakfast roll. The doh had not been rolled and stretched out properly which meant the bread was very thick and the overall size was small compared to any other naan bread. It was a plain naan bread and plain, in fact very plain is as good as I would describe it. I could not find this place listed in order to leave or add my review that is why I have added it as a listing. Despite advertising to have been in existence from 2004. I don’t know how it has managed to survive if the quality of food I experienced is in fact standard. Next time I think I will walk on bye. And They had no beer, thats right NO BEER.

Possibly the worst Indian meal I have had in a long time. The chicken tikka had never seen the inside of a tandoor, and the chicken and lamb curries were totally devoid of any flavour especially after asking for spiced up meals. There are a lot better Indian restaurants than this in Benidorm so if I was you I’d just walk on by and find another.

Absolutely on spot service, quick and plesant welcoming. Got me a chicken korma with naan and it was heavenly delicious

Me ha encantado, acabamos de cenar cinco personas. El personal muy majo y siempre atentos por si necesitabamos algo. Lo recomiendo.

Es un restaurante con un ambiente muy agradable, en el que te sirven rápidamente, la comida muy buena y la limpieza excelente. Recomiendo a todo el mundo que quiera comer aquí que se pase a probar la comida.
