McDonald's - Bendigo

I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed with the experience. Despite being one of the few customers in line, it took almost 15 minutes to receive my Big Mac and fries. The chips were cold and the counter behind the register was dirty. One of the workers seemed overwhelmed trying to clean up a mess, with toppings from the ice machine scattered on the floor. Additionally, a small table behind a bench was piled high with about 10 drinks left unattended.

My wife and I dined at this McDonald's in Strathdale on Friday, July 17, 2020. We had initially planned to just order takeout, but decided to eat in due to the safe distance observed in the restaurant. However, we noticed that there was no safe distance maintained for those waiting for their orders in the back of the restaurant, and all the tables were placed directly next to each other. There was no staff seen cleaning the tables after they were used, and the tables we sat at were dirty with crumbs. We had to clean the table ourselves before sitting down. Even the laminated menu holders were dirty. A group of secondary students who had finished their meals were still lingering in the restaurant, which seemed against the rules. The entire restaurant appeared unclean, especially the front door and windows. In normal circumstances, this restaurant may not be the cleanest, but during a pandemic, all these issues should have been addressed according to health department guidelines. I reported my observations to the City of Greater Bendigo in hope that health inspectors would visit the restaurant and ensure compliance with regulations. I advise against eating at this McDonald's location until these issues are resolved. The owners should take responsibility and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the restaurant for customers.

I am shocked by how often this McDonald's messes up orders at the drive-thru. There seems to be a 50-50 chance of actually getting what was ordered. Additionally, the wait times can be ridiculously long. I once waited for about half an hour just for a simple order late at night. This is truly the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Disappointing!

You never wait long on maccas. Yes, it's maccas. the employees here work hard and look forward to it. beautiful manage and efficient service was found here by the personal. clean charging with easy access.

Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of Maccas. I choose to keep my visits to a minimum, as when I do enjoy a good qp or grand dangus w/ extra pickles I like to REALLY enjoy it. So you could...imagine my horror, when on a Tuesday night at around 15 to 5, I go to the drive through, with butterflies in my stomach... and dancing toes... (ready for what I expected to be a good classic Angus, w/ Diet Coke and extra pickles on the side) and I received a grand total of TWO pickles in a jar. And ONE pickle on the burger. This sort of outrageous mockery of human rights is an absolute joke. A sham!! And it doesn’t end there, oh no... I take a sip of my Diet Coke and realise that this is FULL FLEDGED FULL BODIED COCA COLA. What sort of scam is this? What sort of training do your staff receive? Surely they must understand that a mishap like this will not be forgotten easily. I will not be returning to McDonalds in Bendigo, It may take time before I return to a McDonald’s at all. The trauma from the outright ABUSE I received on my last visit will take time to heal.
