The veggie patty was awesome, onion rings so good, everything really fresh and tasty! For my personal tastes the only thing I would change is maybe a bit more of a seasoning on the chips but they were still delicious! I was greeted by name @ the front door by a lovely young staff member. Very impressed. Super highly recommended.
I really enjoyed the variety at this restaurant. The chocolate thickshake was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. The triple cooked chips were a highlight for me, along with the vegetarian and vegan burger options. I appreciated that they served the burgers in lettuce instead of buns, as I find buns too filling. The location was also great. It did take a bit of time to get our food, but that just meant it was freshly cooked. I thought the chips could have been hotter, and the waitress warned me that the vegetarian burger would be spicy because of jalapeños. I enjoy spicy food, but it was actually too hot for me to finish. It would be better if they served the jalapeños on the side so customers can add as much as they like.
This place exceeded my expectations! I had a Mac and cheese burger with beef. All burgers come with triple cooked chips (amazing) and I got some cheeky onion rings on the side too. Next time I will get the onion rings as a side (an extra $1 as they were that good). I washed it down with a Yenda IPA (very nice-it'd be cool to have some Bendigo brews?) Wowee.
I decided to give Murgers a try for the first time. I ordered the Aussie burger without bacon, but it came with bacon, and the meat burger. Both burgers arrived in a destroyed state in their boxes and were cold, despite the store being only a five-minute walk away. I paid $50 for two burgers and a small portion of chips, which was not worth it. I have had better burgers at a fish and chip shop. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I will not be returning. Good luck, Boris.
This place should be a winner, promising to offer something a bit better than McDonalds. Price wise, it is similar to Grilld, but the menu looked good and had a few interesting touches like the thick shakes. Unfortunately they completely undercooked my wife's burger, it was raw in the middle. The owner did apologise and offer vouchers but why would you go back when the kitchen can't get the basics right.
