One Wild Apple - Benalla

I decided to check out this small cafe without high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hummingbird cake I tried was the best I've ever had, and it was vegan. Even though I'm not vegan, it was delicious! The slice was big enough to share, although I didn't want to after the first bite. We also enjoyed a pot of English breakfast tea for two, with Twinings brand, for just $10. The tea was hot and they provided plenty of milk. Overall, it was a lovely experience with friendly staff. Thank you, ladies! I would definitely recommend this place.

I stopped at Benella on a work trip from Melbourne to Yarrawonga. I happened upon One Wild Apple tucked away down an alley. Fantastic coffee and cake friendly staff and retro decor. Loved it!

The best coffee between Sydney and Melbourne (on the Hume). Definitely go here and hold out til you're back at Sydney. Do not go to McCafe Gundigai.
