El Amate - Beltsville

Food from this restaurant has always been good. Today, I had an unpleasant experience. I placed an order for pick up, I was told 35 minutes. Arrived 45 minutes later, food was not ready. Waited for over 20 minute. While waiting, I noticed 2 of thewaitresses with masks down sitting down and talking while wrapping up utensils( I think these are the ones given to customers).They were also sitting down with a customer and he was eating (no mask of course). This of course, not social distancing. Makingthese observations make me wonder what the guidelines are while staff is cooking the food. I?m hoping they have masks on. We arestill in the middle of a pandemic and things like this make scare.

Excellent eating! I recommend the ceviche and el trio de las enchiladas.

I didn't know this place to drink (Cantina style). we came to dinner with my Fam-Bam, downstairs and ordered at 20 o'clock, we're out.

Late night happy hour? please sign me! I stumbled at this place while I went to another restaurant next door to get my order. I decided to go in.

Eating was not so good, I ordered the carne asada tacos, but it had not tasted much. the waitress didn't check us all the time we were there. they were too busy talking to each other instead of helping their customers.
