We have just left from our 1 night stay. Check in was welcoming and efficient. Sampled a few drinks from the cocktail menu before our evening meal, all of which were flavourful. Staff really friendly. Room was to a nice standard. Warm but air con units are available and effective. Seem relatively newly refurbished. The decor choices throughout are really tasteful. Respectful to the buildings heritage with a modern twist. Enjoyed a beautiful meal in a really pleasant environment. Chilli chips were very spicy! Whole meal was full of fresh flavour. Breakfast was plentiful. Again friendly and attentive staff on hand. Breakfast was a combination of fresh cooked full English which was cooked to perfection and a continental with a nice combination of pastries and cereals. The Elephant and Peacock exceeded expectations in all regards. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely food, lovely drinks, nice atmosphere. service was pretty good, our dessert order didn't go through to the kitchen at first but as soon as it had was really quick and food quality was amazing. Dietary restrictions: Has good labells for allergies including egg, gluten, Vegetarian and vegan. Which was really helpful as a person with allergies. Price per person: £20–30
