It could be my new favorite place! people work there beautiful, eating is delicious and coffee well. Moreover, the interieur is aesthetically appealing and has a great atmosphere
The café is conveniently located, with designated parking spaces that are free for up to two hours, requiring only a permit from the café. As it turned out, two hours were more than enough for us to enjoy a delightful experience. The building is two stories, with seating available on the ground floor and the first floor. There are also outdoor seats to enjoy when the sun is shining. We chose to sit on the ground floor, as it felt more social, and we wanted to avoid disturbing those who were reading upstairs. I particularly appreciated the decor and atmosphere inside; it's rustic and industrial, featuring many interesting elements. The old books really bring the café's name to life. The food was delicious—we ordered from the breakfast menu, which was mostly sourced locally, and it was definitely worth paying a little extra for. Paired with a coffee, it made for a truly tasty meal. The staff were very friendly, and the service was what you would expect from a place that aims for excellence—professional and welcoming, which enhanced our overall experience. Before leaving, we couldn't resist picking up a coffee and a slice of homemade cake for later, as everything was so yummy. Overall, we were very happy with our time here, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!
I visited this beautiful café for the first time today with my dad, and we both loved it! We will definitely be returning. It wasn't busy, so we had no trouble picking a table. The café features exposed original brickwork, industrial-style furniture, and charming decorations, including shelves filled with old books and a vintage bike, all of which enhance the picturesque atmosphere of this historic building. We only had a coffee, which was smooth and delicious, just to our liking. There was also a tempting display of homemade cakes, and the breakfasts being served looked incredible, making us eager to try them next time! I highly recommend this place.
What a fantastic little café! They have an excellent selection of cakes and pastries, and they also serve hot food. Plus, it's licensed. After a five-mile walk, all we needed was a bun and a coffee. It was a nice touch to have chilled water available for customers at the counter. We'll definitely return!
