Smoke's Poutinerie - Belleville

It closed when it was one of the best places to eat in Belleville and say how someone who grew up here. And know many who would love to eat there, but it locked it down, as the Engist is now in Kingston and... I have no way to go there and there is no way to get it here.

I have visited this restaurant numerous times and frequently order delivery, and they always exceed my expectations. The food is of high quality and the service is excellent. There have been several occasions where I have received a handwritten note with my lunch delivery, thanking me for my order and wishing me a good day. These thoughtful gestures never fail to make me smile and brighten my day!

The restaurant experience began on a busy Sunday evening with a few customers and one employee. Within 30 minutes, four more people arrived. The tables were sticky and dirty, and the service was very slow because the cooks were also taking orders and handling money without washing their hands in between. Unfortunately, both my companion and I ended up with stomach cramps and feeling nauseous after eating the fried pork. This was my second time visiting this establishment, and it will definitely be our last.

It just enjoyed a delicious butter Chicken Poutine, loaded with curls, chicken sauce. All right! Excellent, friendly service.

I have visited this restaurant twice this year based on a recommendation, but unfortunately, it is not to my liking. I do not enjoy mushy French fries, especially when they are covered in excessive toppings and greasy sauce. Personally, I am not a fan of poutine, which may be why this dish did not appeal to me.
