East Side Mario's - Belleville

Honestly, this is the 2nd time in a row I was there and got food that wasn't great and received poor service. The first time was ok service, but the food was brought out cold twice, so I didn't eat. The second time, there was barely any sauce on 2 of the pastas. We asked for extra sauce, and it came out ice cold. Our original server had quite the attitude and walked away with an eye roll, and then all of a sudden, someone else was serving our table. The 2nd server was great.I'm not sure if I'll be returning anytime soon. Thinking a little retrianing on customer service standards is needed for the servers.

Not a place I would recommend.We were served salad with brown and rotting lettuce. The soup had stringy, Chewy foreign objects in the meatballs, that appeared to be vein or tendon like. Our pasta was hot but the Alfredo sauce was tasteless. The hostess and server both lacked personality. Overall we left feeling like we wasted $75.00. Very disappointing.

Communication with all staff and managers would be beneficial when running a business.I called one week to make a reservation for 20 people. Jen, who was fantastic, said that they take reservations, but not on Friday or Saturdays. This is completely understandable as those tend to be the busy nights.I was able to book a reservation for 20 people for Sunday. I was told by Jen, as we weren 't 100% firm on the exact of people coming with us (it was for our ball team between games).The server was great with a few minor hiccups, he was young we were a group of 13.Fast forward to the next week, I called again to make a reservation for the same group for the same amount for the next Sunday.I was told by whoever picked up the phone, we don 't take reservations .After explaining myself to the female on the phone, she placed me on hold and came back to me with my manager has said because you had a reservation last week I can do it, but we don 't take reservations .We love East Side Marios, but for our large group from here on out we will be going elsewhere until communication between the whole team seems to be on the same page.We did not attend our reservation for the second dinner, after much contemplation we opted for somewhere who would take our big group without the hassle or the attitude I received.

I had an incredible dining experience at East Side Mario's thanks to Lindsay, our exceptional waitress. She went above and beyond, promptly addressing all our requests with a smile. The food was delectable, and Lindsay made sure not to skimp on the Parmesan or my favorite chili pepper flakes. Her attentive service and friendly demeanor truly enhanced our meal. Without a doubt, Lindsay deserves a glowing 5-star rating for making our visit memorable and enjoyable.

Absolutely amazing food and service by Lindsay and the girl running her food who was absolutely adorable.Lindsay was able to predict what I was going to order next and had drink order punched in before I even made my order! I love it!
