Northside Beach Club (previously Koko King)

Our favorite beach spot during our time in caye caulker. only a short, both drive from the main area, the northside beach club is the place to hang out. they can play volleyball in the sea, or swim, or kajak, or paddleboard. all available to not cost them. drinks are good when they order at the bar. we tried afteros and ceviche when we were there and they were decent. great place to see sunset!

Super friendly staff, and a GREAT location. Their boat runs back and forth every 30 minutes which is extremely convenient. They have chairs, beds, and tables that can also be placed in the water. There are umbrellas and covered areas for shade. Float tubes for everyone, a volleyball net in the water.. it was a great place to enjoy a beautiful beach day. My **** Mary was delicious and cost $15 bz. They really didn’t have many options for vegans though so I ended up only ordering French fries. On my second visit, I ordered another **** Mary, but this time it took almost 40 minutes to make.

Live DJ, quieter less crowded than Lazy Lizard when the cruise ships dump hundreds of day tourists. Limited menu due to staff shortage but good food and drinks.

Beautiful, quiet beach in the day... though I'm sure at night it gets lit. Free ferry ride over and excellent views and seating upon arrival.

Probably the most beautiful place on the island, but the lack of service along with attitude ruins anything it has going for it. A new owner or at least new management and workers should make hand over fist. Update: Downgrading this review to one star after waiting 25-30 minutes I got up to retrieve the drink order that the woman in the picture didn’t place. The bartender was cool and apologized. I asked another waiter to check on the rest of our food. She didn’t place that order either. 40ish minutes later she brought over our drinks and got mad when we refused them. Unfortunately one person can ruin the reputation of everyone else.
