Pizza Express - Belfast

My family and I had a pleasant meal at this restaurant today, but we ended up feeling like we were overcharged. They charged £4.95 for a small portion of rocket lettuce with a few parmesan shavings, and an additional 50p for a slice of lime in a drink that we didn't even request. We were disappointed with the service and feel that the prices were unreasonable. This experience was not what we expected from this establishment and we will not be returning.

Honesty is key, and I have to say that I was a bit worried after reading some negative reviews. However, I am happy to report that my experience at this restaurant was wonderful. My family and I went for dinner and we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The service was efficient and the food was delicious. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, and I want to give a big thanks to the hardworking staff for making it a lovely evening. If you have a positive experience here, I would encourage you to leave a good review - the staff definitely deserve it!

The manager was not customer-friendly. Due to a mistake, we ended up at the wrong Pizza Express in Belfast. Upon arriving at 3.30pm, we found the restaurant almost empty. The manager refused to accommodate our party of 3 and did not offer to call the other Pizza Express location, which was a significant distance away. It was clear that she did not care if we went to another restaurant instead. We ended up walking to the Pizza Express in the Queens Centre, arriving a bit late, but were met by an excellent manager. The previous manager was simply not the type of person you would want on your team.

Sadly we didn’t get to try this restaurant. Arriving to a half empty restaurant on a Thursday night we were told they could only seat us (4 people) in 20 mins but were told we had to leave and come back, not hang out with a drink. So we left and found a restaurant that was more welcoming within 5 mins walk.

Terrible service, was like pulling teeth trying to get anything, orders taken wrong multiple times and overcharged at the end. Wouldn’t go back
