Fountain Lane - Belfast

Treat really badly , given terrible table for two in middle of central Walking area beside Christmas Tree. Sadly menu choice was not great. What we did order was ok but not worth the £45. We simply wanted to get out of the place as fast as possible .

Dinner was great. It was us, the quiz team called Desperados, we had a great dinner upstairs! The bar is very cozy.

After reading reviews on here. I rang around other restaurants to try and change my table, unfortunately I couldn't get a suitable time to accommodate everyone in our group. Well I am so glad. From the 1st point of contact with fountain Lane, everything was perfect. I emailed them b4 hand and they reserved us a beautiful big round table, with plenty of room. The food was unreal, everyones steak was cooked to perfection, and portions were plenty, everyone of us can't wait to return. Staff couldn't do enough for us, and 3 of the young girls serving actually brought out my sisters cake singing, staff reserved a booth down stairs for us as it was a Saturday evening and a special occasion. Note its January, and they may not be able to in busier months, so thank you fountain Lane for making my sisters 40th dinner such a lovely night.

The extremely rude, ill-bred individual who works behind the bar needs to go- disgusting how he spoke to me.

If you want to be greeted with rudeness and indifference by the bar staff, this is the place for you! If you want your nostrils to be assailed by the stench of urine from the mens toilets on the way to the restaurant area, this will be right up your street. If you want to be reprimanded by a cnaptious barman for having the audacuty to move a chair from one table to another, look no further! My advice? AVOID AVOID AVOID! Life is too short to tolerate this type of substandard service and there are plenty more bars to choose from.
