Excellent hotel to stay in. Rooms were very clean. Staff was unbelievably friendly. Excellent restaurant with amazing food! Would highly recommend this place. Very reasonable rates. Casino is very well kept! We would definitely go back.

Went for a funeral everyone there was so rude and racist we would have went somewhere else if they had another hotel nearby but we ended up cutting our trip short. staff was more worried about security watching my family because we are out of state than taking care of our needs at the hotel. We asked for toilet paper and towels and always got told they would bring some up and they never have. first night there we tried getting breakfast and was the first to be in the restaurant there, and people came in after and started eating when we placed our order first and waited 45 minutes for it and had to eat it with our hands because they did not give us forks. very terrible service here we were not comfortable at all. There is also a lot of drunks and weirdos around but I guess we were the ones to be concerned about. Also beds were really itchy.

We stayed at Spirit Lake from March 10-12, 2023. In spite of the reviews- we found it more than enjoyable! The other reviews were from pre- Reno’s (done during Covid). The room was completely updated- very nice, with fridge coffee maker. TV sucks- but what can you do. My wife LOVED the mattress bedding. Food was great for the price point. The $10 buffet was packed with lasagna, fish, pork chops, chicken prime rib- awesome! The snack bar was also a bargain- less than $4 for a good burger- but service was REALLY slow. We also ate one night at the higher-end restaurant, The View- aptly named. Food was very good. We had one of the specials, so the cost was certainly bearable. The server was very nice efficient. Overall, I’d rate the staff as excellent. We were there in mid- blizzard, and they went above beyond to ensure our comfort. We we very happy with the accommodation, staff and food- We’ll be back!

I went on a bus tour for two nights and three days. I was looking forward to the trip as my favourite machine was there. They already took it out. We had to eat at Grillerz the first night. The food was slow, the staff had no direction in the kitchen (no boss) and not well trained. The cashier was not sure of himself. The room was very cold and the fan blew all night on me, even though tried to adjust it. The room has shown wear and tear already. The other restaurant was very good. Lots of food there. Not too many machines to play. The staff all looked tired and rundown. Maybe not enough staff?

The rooms are overpriced. The room was supposed to be smoke free, but it still smelled horribly. Windows are tiny.
