Merci French Food By Trb - Beijing

Me and my girlfriend wanted to try Merci since we tried the TRB and Hulu restaurant before with positive experience. The food is good. We had a mixed anti paste platter as a starter, and meat for main course. As a complementary the house offered a small foil gras sandwich. As dessert we tried the creme brûlée, and the Chocolate soufflé. All dishes had a nice presentation, and they managed to get the meet medium/rare as we asked for. Over all it was a nice dinner, but without any surprises in terms of taste or innovation. The restaurant is keeping a good quality level. And the dishes gives value for money. The only really negative experience was the ambience. Noisy and cold atmosphere. It felt like a Starbucks coffee shop serving dinner. And half of the time some noisy cashier alarm from some of the neighbour restaurants where sounding continuously. it unfortunately dragged down the total experience. However, the staff gave a very good service, and had a very friendly approach. They did a good job.
