Nick Fish And Chips - BEECHBORO

Ordered grill fish and was charged an additional $2 for grilling it. Total cost $16 for an overcooked dry little piece of rubber. Ordered additional items which were not received and when ringing and advising them that it wasn’t received was told they remembered cooking them. Well don’t you think I would remember eating it if I had it? Would not recommend. Well overpriced for what you get.

Wow... the worst fish I've had. I'm not a big fish eater so when I do eat it, I'd like it to be fresh and delicious. We decided to try to support local so went to Nick's but it was so disappointing. The fish smelt and tasted off. I gagged on it and my kids I couldn't finish it. The fish sizes were TINY, super thin overcooked. The batter is thick and flavourless and... cost us $32 for 4 pieces!! 32 DOLLARS! Don't waste your time and try somewhere else.

Ordered some red emperor, mackerel, pineapple fritters and chips this evening. Loved the fact that the fish was local. Food wasn’t oily. Was just a huge shame that the fish and pineapple batter were not crispy. The chips tasted soggy too. Unfortunately the meal wasn’t the best and we won’t be heading back again.

Wonderful gluten free fish n chips, fresh and crispy chips and batter. Friendly owners who go to Great lengths to provide safe gluten-free fish and chips for coeliacs and the gluten intolerant.
