Bidrage med feedbackWe booked last minute but the restaurant were able to accommodate us with a lovely table for two outside. The service from the staff was excellent. We both ordered beef for the main course. I had an aged Entrecôte and a Charolais for my wife and it was cooked to perfection on the open charcoal grill beautifully presented. We both then had the crème brûlée which was superb and the grilled goats cheese cassoulet also very good. All in all we had a delightful experience at the Grillon.
Lovely buzzy restaurant serving locally sourced meat. Both goats cheese salad and steak frites were good. Lovely staff and made very welcome.
The waiter was very attentive. However, we had to wait quite some time for a creamy Burrata salad with no Burrata at the end but instead a plain mozzarella. I guess they run out of the Burrata and it took some time to defrost the mozzarella. Of course the price was the same. It would have ben nicer to let us know. Not all tourists are dumb....
We had an average meal. It was a bad surprise that cards were not accepted. Many customers had to go to the ATM, on the instruction of the owner, while there was no clear notification in advance. We never go back again.
We had a great evening with friends in this little restaurant. very good value quality price and cooking of meat with very successful wood fire. Nice servers. small flat, not possible to pay per card, even if it is well indicated on the card. this should be specified when booking in order to avoid having to leave the table to pick up money from the distributor. a part of that, very nice evening.
