Bidrage med feedbackHad lunch here recently with friends and enjoyed the experience immensely. The setting was gorgeous, looking out over the lake. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. I didn't know this restaurant existed, but now I do I shall return.
Delightful food experience with beautifully presented food with a great combination of enhancing flavours
We didn't realize there was a beautiful restaurant hidden in the Flinders University campus. Once we saw it in the Festival of Food line-up, we were determined to visit.Finding a car park and the restaurant took a little while. Once there, we were impressed by the light, airy atmosphere and huge windows affording a distant glimpse of the seaService was quick, polite and professional. The menu was smallish but interesting, the portions decent and oh so beautifully presented. All our choices - pork, Angas skirt steak and buramundi - were very good. The outstanding dishes for us that day were the intensely mushroomy mushroom soup with thyme oil and the delicate lavender panna cotta..For a restaurant of this quality, we thought the prices were very, very reasonable.
We came here for the Festival of Food which consisted of a slightly different menu than normal. Friday night and we got a table easily. Service was great, our waitress was engaging and friendly and not in-your-face.Food was great, we all got different food (four of us) and all were impressed. All the meat dishes were perfectly cooked. Wine was great too. It all was reasonably priced at $40pp considering the menu consisted of entree, a main and a dessert. Would definitely go back. Only problem was coming at night I had to get security to let me in the building as I'm not a uni student, but that's not the restaurant's fault.
Great place with a wonderful view over the coast. Tremendous quality food and service to match. Excellent addition to southern Adelaide and another contribution by Flinders that raises the bar in the beautiful new Hub area.
