Golden Eagle Inn - Bedford

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Golden Eagle. Although we arrived late (we let them know we were delayed), we were greeted warmly and treated to ice cold water and a yummy popcorn snack! The room was clean and there were many thoughtfultouches from a nightlight to wonderful toiletries. Coffee, tea and water available all day. Breakfasts (included) weresubstantial and delicious. Lunch was great. Would definitely stay again! The town is really neat, too. We enjoyed shopping andthe historic walking tour on Friday afternoon.

Only stopped in pub with my husband for a drink.snd appetizer. Everyone so friendly. Food delicious. Love the atmosphere. Did not stay in hotel.

If you want to get yelled at by the owner this is the place for you. We came for lunch with a group of 16 people with reservations. What the lady from our group forgot to tell us was that they can only check us out as groups of 8. After getting there some of the couples and mother daughters wanted on the same check. That is when the oh so hospitable owner showed up yelling. Thankfully the wait and kitchen staff found a way to split the checks. Never again. Food drinks: The food was pretty good. Very limited menu.

The best included breakfast ever. Very nice historic inn. Rooms are nice and fit in with the history of the property. The best part of our stay was the food. Very upscale dishes at reasonable prices. The included breakfast of bacon, sausage, blueberry pancakes, and assorted fruit was fantastic. Our dinner of scallops and blackened Mahi with shrimp were also excellent. Owner and staff were very nice and take obvious pride in what they do. Safety: Never felt unsafe. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic

We were pleased with the service and food. We had a flatbread pizza and fried clams. Both were quite delicious.
