Bidrage med feedbackI ate there on Sunday 3-10-24 and had the Hibachi and had food poisoning for hours later. That was very severe. Had to call my doctor on Monday.
Food was plain and greasy. Miso soup looked like instant soup. Horrible music playing. Won't be back
Pros: The food was made quickly, and the dining area was somewhat clean. Cashier was polite and delivered food without issue.Cons:The worst rice I have ever eaten. It tasted like rice that was made three hours ago and then microwaved to make warm again with the shrimp being barely decent. Most awkward eating experience I have ever had; styrofoam boxes for plates, plastic forks for utensils, and cheap styrofoam cups. The only sound here was the hum of refrigerators coming from the kitchen. The place had as much life as a morgue. If you’re an out-of-towner or going somewhere for a date, a McDonalds would be better.Cost was 57$ for three meals with everyone being not only disappointed, but also worrying if we would get food poisoning from this place. If the other reviewers are telling the truth about this place, this place is either extraordinary inconsistent or has decreased so far in quality that they are purposely trying to drive customers away.All-in-all, 2nd worst dine-in experience I’ve ever had. I love rice and even was hungry when I went here, but the food still wasn’t even close to tasting good.To the staff on how to improve:Some music and making fresher rice go a long way. Dimming the lights and getting some curtains to make the atmosphere more relaxing will also help to hide the lack of details on chairs, tables, and walls. Being creative will help you out immensely. Hiring an interior decorator and asking them to make your restaurant look like a Japanese restaurant is the way to go and you’ll easily see dine-in profits triple.
Have them a five on atmosphere only because stupid customers screw it up for everyone... Just saying....?
Every Yamazato Restaurant I've been to advertises Soba Noodles but this one I have not been to, more than likely the Soba Noodles are spaghetti noodles.
