Calacinos Pizzeria And Sports - Beckley

We searched for brick oven pizza and found this local sports bar. The atmosphere was alive with trivia questions answered. This must be a popular local meeting place as there were many teams in the Trivia game. We were delighted to have a very tasty well cooked pizza.

We chose a short trip to Beckley for the evening and decided that we were in the mood for pizza while we were down. We found Calacino's after a fast Google search and decided to give them an attempt because their special pizzas looked great. The restaurant itself has a very good parking lot, and a very cool entrance with the pizza oven right in front, so you can see how the pizza is made. The back room has a beautiful bar area and many seating. Overall, it seems to be a very cozy, cool location The food itself was great. We have an order of the Mac and cheese biss appetizer, a chicken bacon ranch pizza, and a ranch pickle pizza. The Mac and cheese biss had excellent taste with a little spice, even as small as they are. These are probably some of the best Mac and Cheese bits that I had, like many places they land a bit, but they were great. Both pizzas were also very good, the white sauce on both was creamy and tasteful and the beats were well made. The crust is excellent, with a great taste and texture on its own. We will definitely try them again when we are in the area and try other things on the menu.

Was not sure what we would get first with this place. We were not sure how to get into the building due to the Wierd configuration. The front door is not the main entrance. Luckily, the atmosphere service and the food we found when we came in and sat, top notch. The waitress was super nice and came to check on us quite often. Our food came out quickly and was super delicious. You have many large screen TVs with a variety of live sports events. Looks like they sometimes make live music. We were there in the afternoon, so unfortunately this part missed. That was the best food we had in the area on weekends. I'm glad we found it.

Wow! We visited a birthday party here and the service was great. The food was so good and the beer was cold. If you order the Legursky, you know that it can feed 4 people. Wife and I shared it. It was like a Philly cheese steak on super thick soft pita. HUGE! The spirally cut potato chips with cheese and bacon are great... in ranch, above the top. Live music was excellent. Only low bottom was how loud the music was, but still good. Great place!

Best gyro around super yummy ? haven't had a decent gyro in 8 years made Mr super happy to find a good place for gyros. Pepperoni rolls are bomb. Husband says best meatball sub he's ever had. Will be bk for more gyros
