Hadn't been here in years. Hoped it had not chged hands n that the menu n recipes would b different. I was not disappointed! The food was fantastic! From the moment we walked in til the moment we left I felt like I was in a family members home 4 a meal. Wait staff was awesome, friendly, very helpful. R waitress gave us a little history lesson on the original owners n the different businesses that had been in this location down thru the years. Loved the homey decor, very warm n inviting. Highly recommend 4 a date nite, girls nite out or just popping in 4 some good Italian comfort food. Their wine was really good as well. The restaurant was amazing and the food was excellent! I wish I could have gotten a drink refill partway through but no waiters came through my area. The best part was probably the actual guy who came in and played for us. The atmosphere is amazing and the smell in the air was very flavorful and makes me feel like I was in Italy. Parking: The parking area looks a little sketchy but turned out to be fine. 08/31/2023: First time here after friends of ours raved about this place. My husband and I arrived on a Thursday evening and was immediately seated and no wait time. Server was very engaged with us and we liked not being rushed. She asked about drinks and asked for coffee creamer which was served in a timely manner. As with other reviews, portion sizes we very generous. We ordered mozzarella sticks and traditional spaghetti with marinara sauce with 1 Italian sauage and the server told us that they can have the dish already split in two which was really nice of them to do. By the end of meal, we were full and didn't have enough room for dessert. We will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Marinara sauces are vegetarian. Parking: We though there was only parking on the side, but didn't know they have parking in the back of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Enough room between each table and men's bathroom stalls. My family has been going here since before I was born 45 years ago. It has been one my two favorite restaurants since I can remember. And even though I moved away from Oregon in 2020 I still made sure to eat here every time I came back home for a visit. Most recently I ate there in August of 2023. I ordered my usual tortellini with meat sauce which has always been my favorite. I saw that prices have gone up by about 25% since I moved away which wasn't surprising. But what did surprise me was that they no longer gave you antipasto and choice of soup or salad any more. That always made it an actual culinary experience in my opinion. And now these things were an extra charge. The tortellini was still very good and the meat sauce was as I remembered, but the garlic bread was stale. So not only was it significantly more expensive but you got significantly less food and some of that was just plain bad. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I'll have to think really hard about if I want to return because at this point it's kind of just overpriced. My initial inclination is to just write them off. If it was any other restaurant I would never return. The only thing giving me any pause is the nostalgia, but most of my family who ate there with me are dead now so it's just me ordering takeout for myself and a friend and his wife who I stay with while in town.
