Black Diamond Bistro - Beaver Creek

Had a delicious dinner here last night! the Cesaer salad was excellent as well as the pork chops with austerity, apples and cabbage. the warm, rusty brot. and the service was very efficient.

Made reservations 6 weeks beforehand and they basically sat us in the bar area for dinner. Not a nice ambiance for dinner at all, totally fine if you want a random sports bar.

Although the restaurant and bar were not busy, service was at a snail’s pace. I understand staffing shortages but they had staff in the bar where we were seated. We split a Caesar salad, each had a small pizza and two drinks and was about $170 for two. I looked at the reviews online prior to booking and there were rave reviews about the food, the views, the ambiance. Didn’t see any of that. In fact, the tables had to be cleaned so we could sit down, we waited for our drinks and food. The pizza was good, I will admit….but the other issues negated that.

This restaurant at The Charter resort right in Beaver Creek by the golf course is one of the best-kept secrets in the valley. The food is great and it is rarely crowded. We love to eat in the bar, on the deck, or in the dining room with full window views of the mountain. Wide range of menu options. The shrimp appetizer is always a favorite, and the chicken is a specialty. Great wood-fired pizzas options as well for those who want a more casual meal. Lovely presentation of food. Fresh salad ingredients. Good wine selection. Many gluten-free options. The service is friendly and attentive. Great place to eat at a high-top and unwind with drinks and appetizers too after a day of skiing or summer fun. They have valet parking right at the door of The Charter and the restaurant is right inside the lobby by the fireplace. Cozy mountain vibe and friendly hosts and waitstaff. A guaranteed pleasant evening.

Great service, great food, lovely view of the trees and mountains. Nice for children too.
