Bidrage med feedbackAppetizers and 2/3 of our entrees were excellent, the wild boar was not a good cut nor was it cooked properly. But our waiter was fine as was the manager who comped our one meal
The menu and pricing does not live up to to the actual food. The appetizers- brussel sprouts and wedge salad were good. The entrees, while they sounded delicious, did not live up to expectations. In particular, the venison and boar and were overcooked and the risotto was not creamy, rather pastey. Execution was off. As far as the ambiance, our table basically had a spot lit chandelier on above it on full blast. We asked for it to be dimmed twice. There are better options in Beaver Creek.
Great meal and service during our ski vacation. The Venison was outstanding! Out waiter was extremely attentive. Will return.
I am a Titanium Elite traveler and eat out for work and pleasure often. Honestly, I’m not one to be overly critical. The staff was very good! The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars for them and service is they should know that Prime Rib is sub par. The lobster bisque was good, meatballs and bread good. But two of the four in my party paid almost $60 a piece for Prime Rib. Both were arguably the worst cuts of meat I’ve paid for. For a $360 meal for 4, I just feel a quality establishment can and should do much better. Breakfast buffet was MUCH better!
We ate there for lunch several times over the holidays rather than dine on the mountain. It was a short walk from the bottom of the main (Centennial) lift, two minutes in ski boots. The food was good, served hot and the service was exceptional. It was a no hassle way to dine with a large group (we had 10 to 12 people every day we made 2 reservations of 6 on open table and they pushed tables together for us) and get back on the mountain after lunch. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.
