Upper Coffee Shop - Beaune

Nothing to write home. we did not find the cappuccinos remarkable and their baked were probably bought at franprix. the room is ok. good place to log in.

This shop has super beautiful decor and we have been looking forward to a good coffee as it is called a coffee shop and what a coffee shop looks like. even says on the window “we love to make coffee for the city that likes to drink it.”... but sounds promising, the laugh turned out that it was a weak normal filter coffee and the waiter had no idea how to foam milk. glass juice was half filled and costs 4.50 € added, it is fresh, but also not worth the money. very disappointed. time to make a Barista course!

We chased this place after other reviews and were very glad that we did. quirky, attractively decorated and furnished serve soy (but not mandel) milk, the coffee was as good as they can hope in france. Good to see you.

Une déco vintage à faire peur, un accueil inexistant, une carte riquiqui. Mais surtout des portions minimalistes et insipides. Velouté de courgette servi dans un bol breton avec le prénom c'est très mignon mais un peu petit pour 8 € ! Croque monsieur au pain de mie bas de gamme pâteux, à peine cuit, dans lequel je cherche encore la garniture : le jambon transparent ne couvrait même pas la totalité du pain et le fromage était quasiment absent. Accompagné de 4 feuilles de salade, à 12 € c'est du vol !

Concept fort sympathique et original avec une patronne vraiment agréable et efficace. La décor et les expositions ne sont pas banales non plus… avec des WC vraiment particuliers (voir photos) !!! Longue vie à cette établissement... ;-)
