The staff was very helpful and friendly. The exhibits were beautifully staggered, surprises around every corner. Love to see bigger exhibits like those here. We came around 1 on a Saturday and it felt not crowded, partly due to layout and staggered entry I am sure.
Magnificent place for art lovers! One of the best installation art museum in the world. I also studied art, installation art, love it! Always inspire my children! I am glad that I can show them various forms of art!
We are members and spent many wonderful weekend days visiting all year round. The location is beautiful and the permanent collection always intervenes. During the pandemic the museum was quite cautious and due to the size the social distancing was easy. Sometimes the staff is discouraged and aggressive with the visitors. There is a beautiful café and a wonderful bookshop. It's one of my favorite places I often return to. Plan ahead because it is sometimes busy. Every season Dia is a magical place for art lovers.
I recommend it for adults but don’t bring a young child here. We brought our 3 year old and realized our mistake very quickly. Many of the exhibits are very delicate and/or dangerous and are very appealing for a little one. Barbed wire exhibits attract little hands and delicate cardboard structures are begging to be climbed on. We ended up strapping her into the stroller for a while and leaving earlier than we intended. I’ll be sure to get a babysitter or wait until she’s older until we come back again to enjoy the collection
