The Pickled Herring - BAYFIELD

We visited after the school season for a football match, drinks and a meal at the bar. the personal is amazing. cordial, warm, happy to have them also when they are worn off by a long rebound season. eating is especially the more unique options. they also have allagash white beer on hahn?! (from maine it is great). just about 5 stars because of the TV situation they did not/can not show the packers in hd, although the Vikings seemed to be. can appear small, but bayfield is square in wisconsin!

We were hungry and stopped to have a snack. we ordered two appetizer cheese curds and afteros. both were subpar. I'm not sure if the nachos cheese there was a creamy substance on them, and the salsa was like Katchup-es was also a sperling of salat above. all odd decisions and not great. the cheese curds were the baked mot battery (I prefer to crush) and not very hot or melted. it made sad to think that I eat time, energy and calories. the personal was friendly and the place was near the water when they were looking for a uprising.

We went to pickled herring for lunch today and eating was absolutely delicious! first our hostess sharon was fantastic super friendly and makes her feel they are guests at home. our server was also very friendly and attentive. I had one of the daily specials sauteed brussel sprouts with duck tenders one of the most beautiful ones I ever had in a restaurant. my friend had the other special of the day a grilled chicken sandwich with their homemade potato chips top basket! I wish bayfield would have come closer to us because I would have been there every weekend. my five-star review was well deserved for this wonderful restaurant!

My children and I went here two days after the hike. good children's menus and I appreciated the vegetarian options including a protein dish and a veggie burger. craft beer on hahn including surly todd the axe mann and erde rider pale ale. good and friendly service with fantastic view of the lake superior. will come back at our next visit! veggie burger
