A.j's Grilled Cheese - Bay Shore

I would frequent this place…but they've cut their hours down to Fri 3—8 Saturday 12—8 and Sunday 4—8. I showed up the other day at 7:30 and was told that they were not taking any more orders. Horrible public relations at least be open the hours you posted in the window. They had a good business model but are so busy trying to cut payroll that after a while, people will presume that they're closed and go elsewhere. Good luck. I hope they go back to normal hours or they won't be around long!

This is my favorite restaurant on long Island. We have lost so much during this pandemic and its such a shame this wonderful restaurant is struggling. These are the best sandwiches I have EVER had and I am holding out hope they reopen because I will be first in line to support them. Amazing service and food every time.

Boooo. I go out of my way to come here to find them closed in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday?! I will not be back

This past Saturday, I called at 841 or 842 for a pick up order. After initially being placed on hold, I was told they stop taking orders at 840. They're only open Fridays and Saturdays now, so I've been trying to support them by going every week or every other. Like my sister said, as a one time courtesy they should of taken my order. Great food. Grilled cheese was amazing. Chips were really good. Service was great.
