Rock-n-Sake Baton Rouge

I recently dined at Rock-n-sake and was impressed by the delicious food. We started with the pork belly lettuce wraps and shrimp wontons, both of which were amazing. We also ordered 3 rolls, including a specialty roll, all of which were tasty. The service was quick and attentive, and we were seated promptly at 7:30 on a Friday night. Overall, we had a great experience and have found a new favorite date spot.

The restaurant was quite busy on a Thursday evening, a bit noisy but they were able to seat our group with several young children. The service was excellent. The sushi rolls we ordered were tasty but I thought they were a bit expensive for the portion size. My friend's volcano roll was outstanding. I recommend going during happy hour if possible!

I went to this restaurant with my daughter because she loves sushi. She thinks it's the best! I accompany her because I can't get enough of the goza dumplings. I order them every time along with the ponzu salad. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the location is convenient being close to home. The atmosphere is cozy and has a nice, dim lighting.

Yum! My fresh salmon roll was very delicious; good rice, fresh fish, perfect combination of sweet and savory. It's a bit pricey but perhaps this is what I should come to expect for decent sushi now. The seafood salad was decent; I wish there was more/a more interesting sauce, but all the fish was fresh. It was takeout so maybe its better dining in. i ordered a side of sushi rice but they gave me unflavored steamed rice instead which was not a huge deal but i was missing that flavor. If they had a bento special or roll combo lunch special of some kind I'd go here more often. The interior looked like a good vibe so I'll try going for drinks next time. There's a lot of sushi in Baton Rouge and this is one of the small percentage of acceptable places.

Food here is an absolute 10/10. They also have a pretty interesting beer selection. The atmosphere is loud, almost every time we have been. It is hard to talk to the person across from you. The service isn't bad either. It's not super fast but it's tolerable.
