Hunan Chinese Restaurant - Baton Rouge

Dine in today at 11.30 am. Food looked like yesterday's leftovers. Dried out , definitely not fresh. Green beans a favorite of mine. Had a about 20 Green beans laying in another pan of cabbage. all Dried up,, Noticed only a handful of customers, guessing they lost all customers. I know I wont be back until food gets good again. not at all what I was used to eating their. So very very disappointing ???? 2 lunch buffets cost 40 dollars. Plus tip. It was a friends birthday,

Last nights chicken wings was horrible and the shrimp fried rice! The wings barely had crust on it and they were slightly burnt, the rice had tiny baby shrimps in it and some of the rice was hard and stuck together. The cheese wontons was barely filled and some were dried out. $38 for nasty food. Never again Hunan. You guys used to be pretty good but now, I?m not sure what happened. You?ve lost a customer!!!

Stopped in for late lunch while traveling. The place was run down and dirty. Floor was sticky, table was sticky even the soy sauce bottle was sticky. Buffet was very limited and all of the food looked burnt. Fried rice had been sitting in the warmer so long the bottom had burned. We almost walked out. The floor and tables were sticky, 95 percent of buffet tray were overcooked, nearly empty, and unappealing. Against our judgment we stayed. The food was over cooked, dryed out, and actually cool not quite warm. It was also so bland tasting. The only thing good was my glass of water.

I hate to write a bad review but last Friday night was a very unpleasant experience. I have been eating there for years. I actually ate there a few months ago and it was fine. However, I took out of town guests to eat there last night and I was embarrassed that I had suggested eating there.
