Cafe Phoenicia - Baton Rouge

Service is great! our server was super nice. the mango margarita is very delicious! the hummus is a bit bland and runny. no good taste at all. the kitchen is unfamiliar with what is vegan and serves a dish with a ei in it. the aubergine really tasted strange. this place would be good to sit at the bar and have nice entertainment and drinks, but eating was less than.

Too bad this place is hidden in central. eating and service were amazing.

The restaurant is a staple to Central. When my friends and family want to eat in Central this one always comes up. They're great and friendly, but I wish the food was given more care. Lately my chicken is fatty and my pasta just taste like a jar from a store.

Well two strikes for this place. So I thought it be fitting to give two stars. I've ordered take out both times and was in a rush due to lunch break constraints, so I didn't fully check my order before leaving. But with that being said, both times the place wasn't busy and both times I had missing items from my order. I can't complain about the food at all (except for the fact there's something missing everytime Doubt I'll be coming back due to my personal experiences
