Albasha Express - Baton Rouge

Ordered from DoorDash Order was packaged great and The Food got here quick and Presentation was great. Lebanese tea is bottled now so that was kinda disappointing, I was really looking forward to the pibe nuts. The chicken and gyro tasted very bland, likea boiled flavor and the grape leave rolls also had barely any flavor either. Hummus and salad were great and I got a bunch ofPita bread which was nice.

It was OK the chicken was a little salty and the serving size was small compared to the price $13/platter). However, the hummus and salad were delicious and fresh. The Lebanese tea was delicious as well.

I quite literally come here like 2 times a week bc my roommate and I have a little bit of a problem???? Nonetheless, the service is always great and so is the food. The staff is so kind and my order has never been messed up:

I grew up in lafayette with an Iranian stepfather, we ate Zeus since I was a child so im very partial to them and am very biased. As it goes Albashas chicken had way to much cardamom, you can tell that the gyro has alot of beef compared to lamb. Zeusoffers a drink with their combo plate, and makes their humus in house, for 4 dollars less. Dry chicken is excusable. Pita wastough. Not a 15 dollar meal. Very disappointed.
